The XXIII Congress of the Indonesian Engineers Association (PII) in 2024 was officially opened by the Governor of D.I Yogyakarta Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono X.

Chair of the Organizing Committee of the XXIII PII International Seminar and Congress 2024, Ir. Sri Hidayati AKP, ST., M.Sc. (PM), IPU, APEC Eng, ASEAN Eng, said that the XXIII PII congress will take place 5-6 December 2024.

He also expressed his gratitude to the stakeholders who supported the implementation of the activities of the 2024 XXIII PII Congress.

"We express our gratitude for the great enthusiasm of all stakeholders of the XXIII PII Congress," said Sri at the Royal Hotel Ambarukmo Yogyakarta, (05/12/2024).

In his report, Sri said that the XXIII Congress was attended by 1,300 participants from all regions of Indonesia and foreign representatives.

"Welcome to this Congress, I hope that what has been planned in this Congress activity can run well," he explained.

As is known, a series of activities at the XXIII PII Congress has also been held at the PII International Seminar on 2-3 December 2024 in Surabaya, East Java. The culmination of the XXIII PII Congress activities will be to elect a candidate for Deputy Chair of PII for the 2024-2027 period.
