On Thursday, April 24, 2025, at the Graha Irama Building (Indorama), the 12th floor, a discussion was held between the Communication Forum of the Professional Engineer Study Program (Forkom PSPPI) with the Institution of Engineers Indonesia (PII).

The event was attended by the Chairperson of the PSPPI Forkom along with the management and Chairperson of the PII and the PII Central Board. This discussion aims to strengthen communication and collaboration between PSPPI organizing universities and PII, as well as discussing strategic steps in advancing the quality of engineering professional education in Indonesia.

In addition, this discussion also focuses on the discussion of important issues related to the development of the curriculum of the Engineer Professional Program, Fulfilling Competency Standards, and formulating solutions to several things faced by both parties related to the PSPPI.

This discussion event is also a place to discuss various challenges faced in the implementation of the Engineer Professional Program, including program accreditation, lecturer capacity building, and curriculum alignment with the needs of the industrial world.

With the implementation of this forum, it is hoped that a stronger synergy can be established between universities, professional associations, and the government, in order to create scientific education that not only meets national standards, but is also able to compete at the global level.
