This step was taken as part of BKN's commitment in supporting the Asta Cita President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia and the vision of Indonesia Emas 2045 by building superior ASN talent management and based on comprehensive competency data.

In a letter addressed to all staffing officials at the center and regions, BKN emphasized that:

1. ASN can submit the inclusion of a professional degree that is officially obtained from the Higher Education or National and Global Professional Certification Institute.

2. The professional degree can be used for career development in accordance with statutory provisions.

3. The submission process is carried out through a clear and system -based mechanism, through the ASN Digital Platform on the Professional History Data Rejuvenation Service.

The Head of BKN stated, "Inclusion of a professional title is not only a matter of recognition, but part of the construction of an ASN data that is accurate, transparent, and supports the staffing merit system. We encourage ASN to continue to develop its competence, including through professional education."

Law Number 20 of 2023 concerning ASN, Article 49 paragraph 1 mandates that every ASN employee is required to develop competencies through continuous learning in order to remain relevant to the organizational demands. Competency development can be done through formal, profession and non -formal education.

With the issuance of this official letter, BKN hopes that there will be no more information confusion related to the recognition of professional degrees for ASN. This policy also shows the seriousness of BKN in strengthening the competence and competitiveness of Indonesia's bureaucracy in the future.
