The XXIII Congress of the Institute of Engineers Indonesia 2024  will be held in Yogyakarta on 5-6 December 2024 at the Royal Amburrukmo Hotel Yogyakarta. This congress carries the theme: "Encouraging the Development of Technology Based on Local Wisdom".

This Congress is the highest deliberation of the organization, which began with the International Seminar in Surabaya, which is PII's initiative to bridge the world of business and the world of education in order to provide real contributions and solution ideas engineeringly towards the dynamics that occur nationally and internationally.

A series of international seminars with the theme Sustainable Industrialization Strategy towards a Golden Indonesia 2045 which will be held on December 2 2024 and will take place in 5 panel discussions which will present international level speakers and panelists. The panel's discussion topics consisted of Manufacturing, Energy, Mining, Transportation & Logistics, Telecommunications, Agro-Industry and the Environment.

Next the event will end in Yogyakarta, a city characterized by education which will witness the gathering of hundreds of engineers from all over the archipelago in the series of the XXIII Indonesian Engineers Association Congress in 2024.

In addition to the tradition of electing the PII deputy general chairman for the 2024 – 2027 term, the Congress of the Indonesian Engineers Association will be the inauguration of the new PII General Chairman, Mr. Dr.-Ing. H. Ilham Akbar Habibie, IPU.

According to the Chair of the 2024 PII XXIII National Seminar and Congress Organizing Committee, Ir. Sri Hidayati AKP, S.T., M.Sc. (PM),IPU, APEC Eng, ASEAN Eng, This historic moment is not just an event, but also an important starting point for the future of PII and this nation.

This Congress will be even more special because it begins with an International Seminar in Surabaya, with the theme "Sustainable Industrialization Strategy Towards a Golden Indonesia 2045," which will be held on December 2-3 2024, followed by with an Engineering Trip on
December 4, 2024.

"This seminar will be a vital platform for the INDONESIAN ASSOCIATION OF ENGINEERS CONGRESSION on 5 - 6 December 2024 in Yogyakarta. to discuss the challenges and opportunities in building a sustainable and innovative industry. The results of this seminar will be provide valuable input for our country's new government," said Sri Hidayati enthusiastically.
