The Institution of Engineers Indonesia in collaboration with the Chinese Society of Engineers (CSE) held a Capacity Enhancement Training Program at the Huawei Jakarta office, on Wednesday-Thursday (13-14 November 2024), attended by 20 participants consisting of engineers from Indonesia and China.

Present as a trainer representing PII Prof. Dr. It. Michael Goutama, IPU, - Deputy Chair of the Central PII International Relations Committee

Represented by the Executive Director of PII, Ir. Habibie Razak, FIEAust., EngExec., IntPE(Aus), This training is a follow-up to the MoU previously signed with CSE.

"This program is a form of our joint commitment to increasing the competency and competitiveness of engineers, not only at the national level but also on the global stage. In a world that continues to change and develop rapidly, engineers are required to always be ready to face new challenges with innovation, creativity and cross-border collaboration.

To the participants, I would like to convey that this opportunity is a valuable moment to gain insight, expand your network and improve your skills. "Make this program a means to strengthen your position as part of a community of competent and highly competitive engineers," said Habibie in his opening remarks.

"We realize that international collaboration like this has a strategic role in supporting the development of the capacity of engineers in Indonesia. Not only to share knowledge and technology, but also to strengthen professional relationships between world engineering organizations," he concluded optimistically.
