The Committee for the Election of Deputy General Chairperson of the Central Management of the Indonesian Engineers Association (PII) announced that it will hold the first stage of socialization regarding the election of Deputy General Chairperson for the upcoming 2024-2027 period.

The activity which will be held on Monday, 18 November 2024 from 09.00 - 17.00 is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding to all PII members regarding the mechanisms, requirements and schedule for the election as well as explaining the vision and mission of the 10 candidates who will compete.

The ten candidates for Deputy General Chair of PII for the 2024-2027 period are (according to serial number):

According to the Chairman of the Election Committee, lr. Ar. Budi Rahardjo, MM., IPU, ASEAN Eng., IAI., AA, this socialization event is an important first step to ensure transparency and active involvement of all members of the organization.

"We want to ensure that the election process is democratic, open, and in accordance with PII's articles of association and bylaws," he said.

This first stage of socialization will be carried out in a hybrid manner, combining face-to-face and virtual meetings, so that it can reach members throughout Indonesia.

The main agenda of this activity is the presentation of the Vision, Mission and Work Program within 15 minutes by each PII Cawaketum. The presentation can be in the form of video, powerpoint and/or direct explanation by the PII Cawaketum (cannot be represented)

"Through this socialization, we also invite members to actively discuss, provide input, and prepare themselves to be part of an important process in our organization," added Budi enthusiastically.
