Indonesian Engineers Association (PII) attended the prestigious International Engineering Alliance Meetings (IEAM) 2025 which was held in the city of Merida, Yucatán, Mexico 8-13 June 2025. ENSEñANZA DE LA INgeniería (CaCei) and brings together global leaders in the field of technical education and professional practice from all over the world.

Forum IEAM menjadi panggung strategis untuk memperkuat kerja sama internasional dalam pengembangan standar insinyur global, sistem rekognisi lintas negara, serta Engineering Mobility profesional melalui berbagai kerangka internasional seperti Washington Accord, APEC Engineer Register, dan ASEAN Engineer Register salah satu pembahasanya.

Pii attended the event by Ir. Andre Mulpyana, Bsie., MSie., IPU. As Deputy Chairperson of International Insine Cooperation and Ir. Prastiwo Anggoro, ST., MBA., IPU., Asean Eng., ACPE., APEC Eng., PMP. Chairperson of International Certification Bapel.

In this forum, the PII delegation is actively involved in a strategic dialogue regarding strengthening outcome-based education, equality of engineering standards, and increasing the role of engineers in answering global challenges such as energy transitions, sustainability, and digital industry revolution. As well as the success of Indonesia to host the world's synergy conference in 2027.

PII's involvement in IEAM 2025 also has important values ​​in the national context. This is part of a sustainable effort to support the agenda of Indonesia's reindustrialization, where the improvement of international quality and recognition of domestic engineers is the main foundation. Through global collaboration and standard harmonization, PII is committed to ensuring that Indonesian engineers are not only competent in the country, but are also able to compete and contribute globally.

Chairperson of PII said that this participation was a form of PII's determination to strengthen Indonesia's strategic position in the international engineering ecosystem, as well as to open more opportunities for the Archipelago to take part in international.
