Vocational Agency Industrial Engineering (BK IT) The Indonesian Engineers Association (PII) officially inaugurated the Chairman of the BK IT for the 2024-2027 period. Is Ir. Wiza Hidayat st., Gp. , IPU., ASEAN ENG, who will continue the BK TI PII command not not to come for the next year.

The inauguration was carried out directly by the Chairperson of PII Dr. -ing. Ir. Ilham Akbar Habibie, MBA., Ipu., And witnessed by Deputy Chairperson PII Prof. Agus Taufik Mulyono (Prof. ATM), Chair of the Board of Trustees of BK TI PII Prof. Yassierli ST., MT., Ph.D, who is also the Minister of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia, Chairman of the BK Advisory Board TI PII Ir. Faizal Safa ST., M.Sc., IPU., ASEAN ENG., ACPE, Chairperson of the BK TI PII Expert Council Ir. Nicke Widyawati MH., IPU, to all BK TI PII members and members who were present, which took place at the JS Luwansa Hotel, Friday, (31/01/2025).

This inauguration is an important momentum for industrial engineering engineers in strengthening its strategic role in various development sectors. With a new leadership, BK Industrial Engineering PII is expected to be able to encourage innovation, efficiency, and competitiveness of the national industry in facing global challenges.

On this occasion, Wiza Hidayat asserted that this container of synergy must be a synergy and collaboration space for industrial engineering professionals throughout Indonesia.

"BK Industrial Engineering PII has a strategic role in building a more innovative and competitive industrial ecosystem. With the spirit of collaboration, we can contribute more towards Indonesia gold Indonesia 2045, "said Wiza.

Wiza stressed the importance of increasing the competence of industrial engineering engineers in dealing with the era of digitalization and sustainability. He asserted that various programs will be carried out to support the transfer of knowledge, development of expertise, and certification of engineers that are more adaptive to industrial needs.

"With this new management, it is hoped that Indonesian industrial engineering engineers will increasingly play an active role in encouraging sustainable and highly competitive industrial growth," explained Ilham Akbar Habibie.

Ilham Habibie advised that PII strongly supports the government's efforts to increase economic growth 8% in the future. Re-industrialization is one of the main things that must be carried out to achieve the government's target. Not only the 8%economy, but downstreaming industry, food self -sufficiency, energy self -sufficiency, and others.
