Muscab PII Tangsel Branch, Collaboration of Creative Engineers for City Development
The Indonesian Engineers Association (PII) South Tangerang Branch (Tangsel) held a Branch Conference (Muscab) with the theme "Creative and Innovative Collaboration of Engineers for the Environmentally Friendly Development of the City of South Tangerang".
The South Tangerang PII Branch Deliberation was held on (21/09) at the Development Hall of Jaya University Campus, Bintaro, South Tangerang.
Deputy Chairman of the South Tangerang PII Branch Management, Ir. Mohamad Agus, S.T., M.M., IPM, said this activity aims to elect the PII PC South Tangerang management and also strengthen collaboration between engineers in creating creative and innovative solutions that support the development of South Tangerang City which is sustainable and environmentally friendly.
This activity was attended by various stakeholders, including local government, academics, industry practitioners and the community.
In the implementation, various important topics are discussed, such as:
- Sustainable Infrastructure Development: Discussion of the latest strategies and technologies in environmentally friendly infrastructure development.
- Green Technology Innovation: Presentations and workshops on the application of green technology in various sectors.
- Inter-Professional Collaboration: Discussion of the importance of collaboration between engineers and other professions to achieve sustainable development goals.
- Engineer Capacity Building: Training and skill development sessions for young engineers.
Ir. Mohamad Agus, who is also Chair of the PII South Tangerang Branch Deliberation Committee, felt honored to be able to organize this event.
"This theme was chosen because we believe that collaboration and innovation are the keys to sustainable and environmentally sound development in our city," he said.
Chairman of PII South Tangerang Branch who was elected by acclamation for the 2024-2027 period, Ir. Hapit Sugandi, S.T., IPM, ASEAN Eng, ACPE., hopes that this activity can create innovation and strengthen member cooperation.
"We hope that through this deliberation, engineers can share knowledge and experience with each other, as well as strengthen cooperation networks to create innovations that are beneficial to society and the environment," said Hapit.
"Our target in the future will be to recruit members, the most important initial management target at this time is to increase membership by 50 percent as mandated in the AD/ART," he continued.
Meanwhile, Ir. Prajapati Utomo S.T., M.M., IPM, ASEAN Eng said that the success of this event involved 3 Generations in South Tangerang consisting of PII Management and Members, Management and Members of the Young Engineers Forum and also the Student Member Forum in South Tangerang.
"We would like to express our gratitude for the presence of the media in socializing the existence of PII PC Tangsel," he said.
"We hope that in the future there will be closer cooperation with media partners in informing every program and activity of PII South Tangerang," stressed Ir. Prajapati Utomo.
For your information, this activity also presented four speakers in the national seminar "The Role of Engineers in Supporting Urban Area Development", namely the Chair of PII Cilegon City, Prof. Dr. Eka Sari, M.T., IPM., ASEAN. Eng., who is also a Professor at the Faculty of Chemical Engineering, Sultan Agung Tirtayasa University, Professor at Gadjah Mada University, Prof. Dr. Ir. Agus Taufik Mulyono., M.T., IPU, ASEAN. Eng., Academician of the Urban Regional Planning Architecture Program of the Indonesian Institute of Technology, Dr. Phil. Ir. Rino Wicaksono., ST., MAUD., MURP., IPU., ASEAN. Eng, and Development Jaya University Academic, Dr. Ir. Lukas Beladi Sihombing., MT., MPU., M. ACSE., who is also Director of LSP IAMPI.
