New Member Requirements

YOUNG MEMBER

1. Fill out the online membership form on SIMPoNI and upload the documents required by the system, among others:
   • Bachelor's degree in engineering, bachelor's degree in applied engineering, bachelor's degree in engineering education, or bachelor's degree in science which is equivalent to bachelor's degree in engineering or bachelor's degree in applied engineering through an equalization program.
   • A statement letter stating that he/she is willing to comply with the provisions in the Articles of Association and Bylaws and the Engineer Code of Ethics, according to the specified requirements.
   • Identity Card (KTP).
   • Color photo.
   • The maximum limit of the amount of attachments uploaded into SIMPoNI is 1 MB.
2. Paying registration fee and annual membership fee.

 

ORDINARY MEMBERS

1. Fill out the membership form online at SIMPoNI and upload the documents required by the system, among others:
   • Engineer diploma, bachelor's degree in engineering, bachelor's degree in applied engineering, bachelor's degree in engineering education, or bachelor's degree in science which is equal to bachelor's degree in engineering or bachelor's degree in applied engineering through an equalization program.
   • Engineers Profession Certificate for Graduate of Engineers Profession Program (PPI) from the University.
   • Professional Engineer Competency Certificate.
   • A statement letter willing to comply with the provisions in the Articles of Association and Bylaws and the Engineer Code of Ethics, according to the specified requirements.
   • Identity Card (KTP).
   • Color photo.
   • The maximum amount of attachments uploaded into SIMPoNI is 1 MB.
2. Paying registration fee and annual membership fee.

 

FOREIGN MEMBERS

1. Fill out the online membership form on SIMPoNI and upload the documents required by the system, among others:
   1. Engineer diploma from the country of origin that has been recognized by the competent authority in accordance with applicable regulations.
   2. Professional Engineer License from the country of origin that has been legalized in Indonesia in accordance with provisions of laws and regulations, for those who have not been licensed as Professional Engineer Indonesia.
   3. Proof of being registered in the Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA) register in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations, for those who have been a professional engineer or equivalent.
   4. Attach a letter of support (reference) from at least 2 (two) Indonesian Professional Engineers.
   5. A statement letter willing to comply with the provisions in the Articles of Association and Bylaws, and the Code of Ethics of Engineers as well as the provisions of laws and regulations.
   6. Passport.
   7. Domicile permit in Indonesia.
   8. Color photo.
   9. The maximum amount of attachments uploaded into SIMPoNI is 1 MB.
2. Paying registration fee and annual membership fee.

 

HONORARY MEMBER

1. Register in writing accompanied by a statement of willingness to comply with the provisions in the Articles of Association and Bylaws, and the Engineer Code of Ethics, and have met the specified requirements.
2. Has contributed to the world of engineering.
